Fouta hammam towel Originally from Tunisia, the fouta towels are made of 100% natural cotton. Today a Tunisian artisan still hand weaves on a “métiers a tisser” (weaving loom). This art has been passed down to each generation for thousands of years. The fouta towel is traditionally used in the famed Hammam (Turkish bath), the communal bathhouse which is now your local spa.
